Roots & Reefs is passionate about showing travelers a true Maldivian experience. Everyone knows that the Maldives is a beautiful country, but very few travelers actually experience traditional Maldivian culture. We want to change that by immersing visitors into activities such as cooking classes hosted by Maldivians, art classes that create Maldivian inspired works, and sporting events that introduces travelers to new friends. We want you to leave the Maldives with amazing memories, an appreciation for a unique culture, and new lifelong friends.

Yes! We can find activities that are very suitable for families with young children, and our tours/classes often do not require any prior experience. Whether you are a master chef or an artist or whether you have never used a measuring cup or a paintbrush, everyone will have fun, make memories, and learn new skills during activities such as our culinary or art classes.
Yes! We can create amazing packages for individuals, couples, families, or large groups. We even have lodging options where we can book an entire guesthouse for a larger group at a very affordable price, so groups can have privacy while also staying at the same location.
